Muiraquitãna is a territorial AI agent of Baixo Tapajós, built in partnership with MuCA, Museu de Cultura Amazônica. She preserves the memory, science, and services of Santarém, Belterra, Alter do Chão, FLONA Tapajós, and surrounding riverside communities.
Muiraquitãna is not a mascot. She is the voice of a territory, Baixo Tapajós, and of MuCA (Museu de Cultura Amazônica), a partner institution. Muiraquitãna was launched in April 2026 as an Amazonian AI built with and for the communities of Baixo Tapajós.
Her scope covers Santarém, Belterra, Alter do Chão, FLONA Tapajós, and the riverside communities of the Tapajós and Arapiuns rivers. She is territorial, voice- and visually-enabled, and puts the community first, without folklorization.
"I guard the memory so the river keeps flowing."
Built in partnership with public, academic, and entrepreneurship support institutions. A Data Riders product grounded in six non-negotiable principles: voice & visual, territorial tone, no folklorization, community first, curatorial track, editorial responsibility.
Muiraquitãna engages with different audiences, in different ways, for different purposes, always with voice and visual elements (photos, maps, collection images).
